Windows 10: Windows 11 Phone Link "Transfer to PC" Issue

I have encountered the "greyed out Transfer to PC" problem with Windows 11. I know many other users have experienced the same issue. I bought a new Windows 11 Home laptop a few weeks ago and began using Phone Link with no issues. I returned that laptop for a more powerful Windows 11 Pro machine. That's when the issue began. Could not get rid of the greyed out "Transfer to PC" problem resulting in not being able to transfer a call, either incoming or outgoing, from my iPhone 13 to my PC. I then spent an hour in a chat session with a Microsoft tech support agent, who basically repeated eve

I have the same issue. I have a Samsung A55s from which I was able to 'Transfer Call to PC', but it has now stopped working. As suggested earlier, all other connectivity between phone and pc works, but not the call transfer.

If you have the "Link to Windows" app on your phone then you should try the next step on your PC. Windows 10/11 come with a program called "Phone Link". It allows you to make a wireless connection between your phone and PC. There is no guarantee it will work with your phone but no harm in trying it. Have the same issue with Dell Inspiron 27" 7730 AIO PC running latest Windows OS and iPhone 15 Pro Max running IOS 18.

Another interesting point, if I start Spotify from my phone, I cannot transfer audio to phone link because my PC doesn't show in the list of connected devices on Spotify. However, it is connected according to Bluetooth on both phone and PC. I can pause the song in phone link but can't listen to it on PC.
