Windows 10: Windows 11. Notepad consistently crashes. I've tried all of the fixes.

Problem: I usually have multiple Notepad windows open, taking notes for different things. On a very consistent basis, when I attempt to open a new .txt file, Notepad hangs for about 3 seconds, then all of my Notepad windows disappear, then appears a blank, untitled Notepad window. After I then close it, and then open Notepad again, all of my multiple Notepad windows re-appear and still have the contents in each window, both saved and unsaved, but in a different order in my Taskbar. I've already tried resetting it, repairing it, reinstalling it, running clean boot. But nothing has worked, and

Notepad Windows 11 Keeps crashing...where do I find the opened Notepad files?

Notepad on Windows 11 opens up, and then crashes. I had a number of notepads with important information.

I can see the information in the notepads as they open up, the windows lay on top of each other, then the software promptly crashes. I can't navigate in time to save anything from these windows as more windows open up and then the Notepad app crashes.

I've tried searching online everywhere for where Windows 11 keeps these files, but I could only find locations for older version of Notepad, as nothing appears in the Roaming folder. Did a search of all *.txt files and followed all various instructions online.

Clearly this notepad data is somewhere, how do I access it to retrieve my notepad data?

 

Notepad will not open in Windows 11

I have a brand new Windows 11 HP laptop. I need to transfer some information from my old laptop that was stored in Notepad. When I go to open the file, nothing happens. I can not open Notepad at all. I have completed the below steps and it still will not work.

1: Reset application

2: Repaired application

3: Removed and reinstalled

I have also followed at the step provided in the community and the steps provided in one of the posts that link to this page: https://www.howtogeek.com/fix-notepad-not-opening-on-windows/.

Nothing has worked.
Please tell me how to fix this.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
