Windows 10: Windows 11 my device is auto scrolling down in certain applications

I'm having this issue where when I hover my mouse over windows explorer, it auto scrolls down. I've confirmed it does this for device manager and control panel. So far it only auto scrolls for windows related software. I've ran my antivirus and it found nothing bitdefender. I have steelseries mouse and keyboard, I went into the software and disabled my scroll down on my mouse and the down arrow key on my key board yet the problem still persists. I've restarted my computer to no luck. I can't seem to find the cause of this issue. This problem doesn't occur on applications like chrome, and tas

Do let us know if your touchpad functionality is fine other than the mentioned issue?

As you are facing issues with scroll options in few of the applications on Windows 10. Try the below and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to change the mouse & touchpad settings and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key, type mouse
  and select Mouse & touchpad settings.
• Choose appropriately with the following options and check if the issue persists.

• Roll the mouse wheel to scroll
• Choose how many lines to scroll each time
  

Method 2:

Step 1: As you are using touchpad, I suggest you to use different mouse to different ports and check if it helps.

Step 2: I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe mode and check if the issue persists.

AUTO SCROLLING IN WINDOWS 11

I'm facing issue of auto scrolling. On the desktop itself mouse is pointing to the last icon , auto scrolling in chrome , even when trying to write a word in notepad or office cursor is getting stuck to the end character of the word.

Previously my system was windows 10 just today upgraded to windows 11 facing problem in both OS.

Tried several way like updating drivers and enabling & disabling touchpad then to of no use.

Same problem is also seen when booting in safe mode.

Any suggestion or assistance would be more then helpful.
