Windows 10: Windows 11 laptop keeps shutting down or restarting when idle

Hi, I'm not very Windows literate but need some help with this problem, as I rely on my computer for work and am worried it will start happening when I am working on a client's project.As the subject line states: I'm using a laptop running Windows 11 and almost every time I leave it for more than a couple of minutes, it shuts down or restarts. Bearing in mind I really have no idea what I'm doing, following online advice from articles etc., I've tried:-- running the following command lines on several separate occasionsISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealthDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanH

Random shut down and restart??

Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
E220@2.406hz
2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
Windows xp

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused *Mad

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?

 

Windows 10 issue: laptop -- after a few hours idle, have to restart

I just downloaded windows 10. I changed the settings so that the computer does
not shut down/hibernate after x amount of minutes. However, after being idle for several hours, my laptop is still on, but is frozen -- nothing on the screen and will not respond. I must restart it. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
I never had this problem with windows 8!

The issue might occur if the computer is not shut down properly. so, I suggest you to perform a power drain by follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.
• After the computer boots to the desktop, suggest you to install all the pending updates.
