    Windows 11 intermittently slow rename/delete/move file

    Hi everyone,I've got a Windows 11 PC with an NVMe m2 SSD, on 23H2. Previously tried 24H2 but it's not compatible with some games.About half of the time it would take only milliseconds to rename/delete/move a file. However, for the remaining half of the time, it would take minutes to do the same the progress bar halting at 0%. I wonder if anyone has any idea what could be the root cause of this and how can it be fixed? Please let me know if you need more information, not sure what to include here.Thanks ahead!

    :)

    Windows 11 file moving after renaming

    In previous version of Windows, I would rename a file, and click on the next file, to stay in the same position in the list. However, I've found with Windows 11, when I rename a file, and click on the next file, it follows the renamed file to the new position in the list. This is very annoying when renaming a batch of files.

    Windows 10 File Explorer slow response to rename, delete, etc.

    Every time I right click on a file to rename it, delete it or mainly to bring up the list of options of what I want to do, it can take up to 10 minutes or more before that list appears. If I am not extremely careful in making a selection, it will disappear,
    and I have to start over. Once this behavior starts, it stays. Usually, when I start my day, it works fine and the options list pops right up, then later on it flips to the slow mode. How can I fix it?

    PDF files slow to delete, move or rename after upgrading to Windows 11

    Hi,

    After upgrading to Windows 11 some months back, all PDF's have been very slow to move, delete or rename. The status window pops up and it takes 1-2 mins. This issue is not happening on any other file type.

    I have tryed to delete Adobe Acrobat and install it again. It worked for 1 day then back to its usual slow self.

    Other things I have tryed, but not worked;

    1. SFC scannow

    2. There was a page on Microsoft Support that mentioned to disable Enhanced Security or Protected View in Adobe, can't remember which one as I saw it a while ago and can't find the page again. That worked for a little while then stopped again.

    Thanks in advance.
