Windows 10: Windows 11 - How to Change Administrator Account Due to Locked Email

Just over a year ago, I bought a brand new desktop PC, and created a brand new email address, which is the Administrator account for my PC. I wrote down the PIN, password, and rest of the account information at that time. Within a couple days, my email account kicked me out, and made me sign back in. Microsoft said my password was incorrect, even though I am positive that it is identical to the one I wrote down. I am still able to login to my computer with my PIN code, but I cannot access any other settings because it keeps asking for my password, and says it is incorrect.Over the last 13 mont

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address.
