Windows 10: "Windows 11 Home in S mode" If I buy a TurboTax or H&R Block tax software CD, will it let...

I just bought my first computer having "Windows 11 Home in S mode". If I buy a TurboTax or H&R Block tax software CD, will it let me install without canceling S mode? I tried installing software directly from the H&R Block but didn't want to cancel S mode. Wondering if using a CD instead will work without having to cancel S mode.

I talked to H&R Block support today and they said that their software would not run with Windows 11. They are working on it. Anyway, I got a refund of my purchase and just bought TurboTax Cut. So, the problem is with H&R Block's software. Wonder why they did not test their software with a pre-release version of Windows 11?

Well I did my tax return at 6:00 PM with TurboTax premier and the IRS accepted my return at 6:55 PM. I did use a windows 10 computer. Never again will I use H&R Block

I had the same problem with the H&R Block Premium Business software not loading after Upgrading to Windows 11. The personal software works fine.

I was finally able to get thru to H&R Block technical support today and was told their software doesn't work with Windows 11. It clearly says it on the download (which by the way I didn't notice either) and there is no update on when it will be compatible. Unfortunately I am unable to go back to Windows 10. There is suppose to be a 10 day window to go back but for whatever reason, my system has that option grayed out and will not let me go back. I spoke with Microsoft and they can't figure it out either. I have a case opened and hope someone can figure it out. If not I either stay with Windows 11 and buy another Tax program that is compatible or reload Windows 10 from scratch which means backing up my system in order to do that. I read that TurboTax was not compatible either so be careful if considering it. Its been a very frustrating couple of days working on this.
