Windows 10: windows 11 home and an old windows 10 supported HP PSC 1610 printer

A friend has windows 11 home and an old windows 10 supported HP PSC 1610 printer but HP does not support it on windows 11. Does any one have any ideas?

Printer is working fine offline. Printer appears under devices. Printer drivers have been updated. Printer will not print.

The printer may not be compatible Windows 10, since the printer driver is not available for Windows 10. However, I suggest you to go to the below link, download the latest updated printer and install it in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

  Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
