Windows 10: Windows 11: Hindi language pack installed but downloading of language features like Basic...

Hi friends, I’m using English US as OS default language and Hindi language pack installed in my laptop, also. But I would like to download Hindi Language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech for typing in Hindi. But Language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech pack downloads get stuck at 70% every time and can't proceed beyond that. Screenshot is given below:So that, I am requesting for help to complete download of Hindi Language features like Basic typing, Handwriting and Speech in windows 11. Regards,Mahesh Kumar Singh

Windows 10 Hindi language pack

Hi,

In order for your friend to use Hindi, he needs to add the Hindi language pack first. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and click Time & language.
• Click Region & language.
• Under Languages, click Add a language.
• In the search bar, type in Hindi.
• Click Hindi in the result and follow the on-screen instructions.

Any language pack for Vista ?

Basically, when you install Windows the first time, it asks which language to install and that is the language you are stuck with. Only Vista Enterprise and Vista Ultimate editions allow you to change it post-install (multi-lingual support). Under computer properties, there should be a button allowing you to upgrade editions. If you upgrade to Ultimate, you should be able to download the French language pack from Microsoft Update and you'll be able to switch between French and the current language.

 

Speech language pack is not download!!

• When you say Language pack it not downloading, do you receive any error message?
• If yes, what is the error message?

There are few languages that windows 10 has pre installed in the system itself, I suggest that you check these languages and locate the language that you want to install. Follow the steps below to locate the language.

• Click on the Start Menu, locate and select Settings.
• Click on Time and Language.
• Locate and select Region and Language.
• Click on Add a Language.
