Windows 10: Windows 11 Explorer randomly jumping back to top/beginning of subfolders/files list when...

I have found my problem of the pages jumping back to the beginning constantly. The problem is with my Slideshow setting and is easily proven with a split screen. When the slideshow changes pictures so does the explorer page. Maybe I have to many pictures but if I use explorer I have hit personalization and turned off the slideshow until i am done.

When Windows offered me to upgrade W10 to W11, I accepted. Ever since, I have the issue described in the title.

To be more specific, let's say I have a folder with many subfolders or files (thus they can't all appear on a single "page" and one has to scroll up/down or, in my case, since I like the "list" view best, left to right).

For example, I go to a file/subfolder with a name starting with letter "S". After a duration that can go from a few seconds to a few minutes (it seems completely random, but always happen eventually), whether I'm doing something with the subfolders/files or I just left the folder open while doing something else, the main folder will just jump back to the beginning of the list (i.e., files/subfolders with a name starting with "A").

I googled this and it seems it's happened to others, I found many suggestions, but none seems to work:

- Some suggest it may be the mouse, but as it started the second I installed W11, (and never ever happened on W10), I seriously doubt it. I also tried with several mice and their drivers are all up to date, to no avail.

- My Windows 11 is also fully updated. So is my graphic card's driver.

- I put the accent color from "automatic" to "manual", to no avail.

- I clicked on launching Explorer with a different process, to no avail.

- Some suggest to change the Explorer windows size, but the problem seems to happens regardless of the window size (and, anyway, one needs to change one's folders' size depending on one's need at any given moment, so that wouldn't be a long run solution).

- I even reinstalled W11 entirely (I don't seem to be able to go back to W10 anymore, or I'd have done that), to no avail.

I spent a lot of time trying to solve this, but I can't find any solution that works. It's an issue I MUST solve as it gets in the way of too many things (particularly when you're in the middle of something and it jumps back). And the culprit has to be W11 since it began the second I changed the system. I know very little about computer science, but the fact that it happens randomly (e.i, after anything from a few seconds to several minutes) suggests it may have to do with a process refreshing itself or something acting by itself on Windows and affecting Explorer, but it's a wild guess, I really have no clue).

Windows 11 File Explorer Folder Jumps to the Top Randomly, and When Creating Shortcuts

I am using Windows 11.

I generally have multiple file explorer windows open.

I "randomly" experience the folders jump to the top. I have unsuccessfully tried various resolutions listed in the following links.

I recently identified that creating a shortcut from the folder "causes" a jump, and guessed that this may mean something to people who understand better than I do.

I have an unresolved issue with the computer freezing, that may/not be related to the jumping.

Can you please assist with the folder jumping issues?

It is the issue with File Explorer. When I open a long list of files trying to go through it, it suddenly jumps up, to the beginning
