  2. Windows 11 Black Screen with Cursor

I have a Dell Vostro 5481. After upgrading to Windows 11 it hangs on a black screen with a cursor for about an hour and fifteen minutes before displaying the login screen. This does not happen in safe mode.

I have tried everything, uninstalling/reinstalling the graphics driver, resetting the machine, doing a clean install of Windows 11 and nothing seems to resolve this issue.

I'm at my wits end with this machine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Windows black screen with cursor

    I
have tried following the steps of booting into safe mode, going into the control panel and uninstalling the latest windows update that caused the 'Windows black screen with cursor' error. However, now it wont even boot to the desktop, it will show 'Automatic repairs being done' and then automatically booting to safe mode. Upon checking my BIOS, the SSD drive with windows installed with it, is not even showing up in the boot list/priority. (still able to see drive in bios under System status and when checking under windows installation time.)
