    Windows 11: Alt+Tab with multiple Chrome windows open


    I have the following windows open in a Windows 11 desktop:3 Google Chrome windows one with two tabs1 Excel 2010 window with 3 workbooks open1 Windows Explorer window1 Adobe Acrobat window 1 document tab openThe focus is on the Excel window.I press Alt+Tab. This brings 1 of the Chrome windows into focusI press Alt+Tab.This should bring the Excel window back into focus?It does not! This brings the 2nd Chrome window into focus.To get the Excel window back into focus, I have to Alt+Tab 4 times, "past" the 3 Chrome windows and the Acrobat window.****? Please tell me this is a defect that is g

    alt + tab not working

    i always just use the windows key to get back to the desktop [pops up the start dealy, doesn't need anything to alt+tab to]

    Just found a really cool way to make alt+tab INSTANT!!!

    In the launch options write the following: -windowed -noborder

    This play exactly the same as fullscreen but now you dont have to wait 30 f*@!ing seconds to alt+tab back in!

    Also you don't get the little purple/black checkered effect (only in Source games) from alt+tabbing in fullscreen.

    Alt + Tab in Windows 10 does not Toggle to Previous Screen


    Are these windows of the same program or windows of different programs?

    On my Preview Eval 10547 build running in a VM I have the exact same behavior as I've had in all previous versions of Windows.

    I have a Word doc, my email program, Chrome and CCleaner open. Hitting Alt + Tab auto switches from the current in focus program to the next on the list and also holding Alt after the first press of the Tab key shows a thumbnail of all open programs. So I see Word, Chrome, Thunderbird and CCleaner windows as thumbnails. Hitting the Tab key again cycles through those open windows. Once I let go of the Alt key the one I have chosen become the current In Focus window. Hitting Alt + Tab again take me back to the last In Focus window.

    I do have Classic Shell installed so that might of changed something from the default of Windows 10.
