Windows 10: Windows 11 24H2 Update allocated too much space on my C drive - Is there any way to free up...

Hello to all,On my desktop PC, I got a notification regarding the new 24H2 update which has already been rolled out but yet "unavailable" to install. Paused countless times until I suddenly realized my C drive space has been eaten just by downloading a feature update. I used to have almost 24GB free and now it has been reduced to 16 something GB! Other times, it did not use to be like that. Right now, disk space is just too few!It is a gaming PC. All my games and few Microsoft Store apps have been transferred to my D drive, which is an HDD secondary drive. On my C drive I mainly have light

Unallocated Space to C Drive

Hi Travis,

It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

• In Disk Management, right-click on (C which appears next to the
  Unallocated partition.
  
• Select Extend.

Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.
