Updating to Windows 11 24H2 stops Microsoft One Drive, Microsoft Edge, and several other applications from being able to sign in to my Microsoft account. I have determined that after the update, the Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant service is not running even though it is set to Manual Trigger Start. When I attempt to manually start the service I get the error code 0x80070005 and a message that says I do not have the correct permissions to start the service. When I rollback the update, Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant service is already running when Windows starts and all of my appl

Method 1

I Suggest you to start the "Microsoft account sign in assistant" service and check if it helps. If its already started then stop it and restart the service.To do so,follow the steps below:

• Type services in the search bar.
• Select Microsoft account sign in assistant service.
• Right click on Microsoft account sign in assistant
  and click stop to stop the service.
• Right click on Microsoft account sign in assistant
  again and click restart to start the service.
