    Windows 11 22H2 to 24H2 problems


    I'm attempting to Update windows 11 22H2 to 24H2 using Windows 11 installation assistant. It says my version of windows has reached the end of service but when I check for updates nothing comes up. But when I use the installation assistant I receive this error. [You can't install Windows on a USB flash drive using Setup]My windows is installed onto a PNY SSD not a usb drive. What should I do?

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

    Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

    Good day,

    We have a customer who currently has the W11 22h2 in operation and would like to suspend 23h2 in order to switch to 24h2 in 2025. What is Microsoft's recommendation in this regard? Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?
