Windows 10 Version 2004 Mouse Cursor Speed Converting Correctly?

Windows 10 in its latest version 2004 update added an option to change your mouse cursor speed directly in the Windows settings from 0-20 increments. You can still use the previous option of changing the speed in the previous mouse properties windows with its 0-11 increments. 6/11 was the default speed of the mouse and what many users used before including me. I noticed that in the mouse Windows settings it converts 6/11 to 10/20 which doesn't seem correct unless it doesn't show decimals. 6/11 is supposed to correctly convert to 10.9/20 for the new settings. I was wondering if the 6/11 converting to 10/20 is still the same exact speed as before or if this speed isn't translating correctly over now? Should I put the new setting at 11/20 now which isn't directly the same as the 6/11 setting I used before?

Windows 10 Version 2004 Mouse Cursor Speed Converting Correctly?

    Windows 10 mouse speed

    hi there,

I seem to have to different 'places' for lack of a better term, in which I can modify my mouse settings. There's 'cursor speed' in mouse settings (default seems to be 10?) and pointer speed in pointer options (the universal way and how I've managed windows
    mouse speed for years).

They seem to be mutually exclusive and thus, creates an inaccurate mouse speed as a result. I've tried to lookup the cursor speed option in windows settings but I've literally found nothing and references to changing mouse speed all point to adjusting it
    via pointer options.

Does anyone know what this setting is/does? can I disable it? Does it interfere with pointer options mouse speed?

    cheers

    Steve
