Windows 10: Windows 10 Upgrade fails with error 0x8007001F - 0x20006

Hello,I'm trying to upgrade my PC from Win7 to Win10. I've tried using the Media Creation Tool for 20H2, no luck. I've now got the Win10 ISO itself and trying to run setup from that, but it gets to about 15% of "Downloading Updates" before it quits out and rolls back any work it did, then gives the error message in the title as well as "The installation failed in the SAFE-OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation"I've troubleshooted Windows Update fully, there are no pending updates.There is adequate space on my C: drive 53 GB.I've done a chkdsk/f C:.I have attempted to run DISM

Diagnosing upgrade failures is proving next to impossible- there are threads running on for days looking at the log files- which you are free to do of course.

Standard preparatory recommendations include checking the disk, running chkdsk, uninstalling 3rd party security, checking for free space. I assume you've done that.

I assume SP1 is installed at least- that's a requirement.

I don't know how you initiated the upgrade: sometimes may help if you perform a clean boot, then manually upgrade using the iso file without choosing to accept updates.

Windows 10 Update fails with error 0x8007001F - 0x20006

Hi there,

I have been trying for two days to upgrade my HP Zbook laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I used the media creation tool on the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/software-download/windows10.
I have tried about five times now and keep getting the following error message:

"We couldn't install Windows 10. We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10.

0x8007001F - 0x20006

The installation failed in the SAFE-OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation"

The first time I tried to install it told me I had to uninstall HP Drive Encrypt, which I did, along with the HP Client Security Manager. I have tried at least 5 times, and followed some of the steps I found when googling: https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmanager/0x8007001f-0x20006.html.
Out of the following I was able to perform numbers 1, 3 and 4 (it would let me perform task 2).

• Fix 1: Use Windows Update Troubleshooter
• Fix 2: Reset Windows Update Components
• Fix 3: Clear Windows Update Cache
• Fix 4: Disable Your Antivirus and Firewall Temporarily
• Fix 5: Run Windows Updates in Clean Boot State

Before I try run in a clean boot state I was wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction. I used the Media Creation tool to update my PC no problem - worked first time. I'm not sure if it's an HP issue or not, as I have always struggled
with windows updates on my laptop - sometimes it installs them sometimes it doesn't. Please see the error messages received when running Windows Update Troubleshooter:





Please help as this is beyond frustrating.

Could you please confirm what version of windows you are using. The Windows update log says 1607 and then one with 1803.

Windows Key + R, type winver, enter

Do you have a iso for your current version? (1609, 1703, 1709)

It maybe necessary to run sfc /scannow three times to repair errors.

I assume the Features they are mentioning are

Click Start > type Control Panel, enter, Programs, Under the Heading Programs and Features....
