Windows 10: Windows 10 update Dec 2021

Is it normal that a company as big as Microsoft can give itself the right to delete peoples hard work, is this normal?i have been using windows since windows 3.0 and later 3.11 and i am a BIG windows fan and i love windows 10 and have been recommending it for years but a couple of days ago i had a windows update but i have some work to finish so i postponed the update until yesterday 24-DEC-2021.Today started the computer to finish some work only to find a green check mark at the bottom of each icon on my desktop, i am a Tech guy and a lot of the information on my desktop is work related and s

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
