Windows 10: Windows 10 Stops Recieving Input From ASIO Device

I recently upgraded my audio interface from a TASCAM iXR to a TASCAM Model 12. My DAW, Reaper, can send audio to the Model 12 and receive audio back from the Model 12 no problem, but for some reason in most Windows 10 apps like Voice Recorder, Zoom, Teams, audio goes to the Model 12 but none of the audio from my microphone comes back to Windows. I've verified the latest version of firmware and installed the latest drivers on 3 Windows 10 computers and get the same behavior. What's interesting is if I open up Reaper, create a track on inputs 1 and 2 where I have the master mix from the Model

This issue occurs due to the outdated and incompatible Universal ASIO Driver.

I would suggest you to try these following methods and check, if the issue still persists.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to update the latest Universal ASIO Driver
in the Device Manager and check, if it works.

• 
  Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Universal ASIO Driver.
  
• 
  Right click on the Universal ASIO Driver
  and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check, if it works.
  

Method 2:

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to uninstall the
Universal ASIO Driver from the Device Managerand reinstall the latest
Universal ASIO Driver in compatibility mode and check, if it works.

Follow these steps to install the Universal ASIO Driver
in compatibility mode with Windows 7.

1. Download the latest Universal ASIO Driver
from the manufacturer’s website.

2. Right-click on the setup file and click on "Properties".

3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.

4. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
