    Windows 10 is still a mess


    When Windows 10 first came out I tried it, and didn't like it, so I went back to Windows 7. The new hardware requirements for builders demanded that you install windows 10 for hardware support or move to Linux. Being patient, I waited, and waited, and waited, and Windows 10 is still arguably the worst operating system ever released by Microsoft, bar none. I bet if Microsoft decided to return its support to Windows 7, and continued to update it, everyone who knows how to would drop Windows 10 and go back to 7. So Microsoft, either fix this mess, or admit it sucks, and release Windows 7 to open source so that people can once again enjoy their computers.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
