Windows 10: Windows 10 Firewall don't remember my allow choices

    Windows 10 Firewall don't remember my allow choices


    Hi guys I am having this boring issue. Everytime I open any software that access the internet, such as Skype, Chrome etc that firewall window appear for me to let it access the network. The problem is it does not remember my choice, if I close the software and reopen I have to click allow again... any help?

    Can't Install ANY Fonts in Windows 10

    This is very surprising, Enabling the LOCAL firewall allowed me to see the correct fonts on a webpage.

    We have a dedicated firewall, we don't need any phantom restrictions tied to local firewall being switched off.

    I don't even understand that simply turning it on allows fonts all of the sudden without having to specify any specific allowance for fonts on the firewall. It seems like the firewall itself deems fonts as safe by default.

    Is there any news on fixing this bug? switching the local firewall off is a choice which should respected and definitely not block anything, especially not something as simple as a font.

    Hi.

    I found turning my BitDefender Firewall OFF worked.

    My Windows 10 Laptop PC then connected to my Samsung TV within 20 seconds, but I did have to ALLOW this connection on the TV, using its Remote Control device. However, the TV remembers this permission setting for the next time. So,I do NOT have to allow
    it again.

    Not sure what Firewall rule I need to create in BitDefender to allow the connection through without turning the Firewall OFF. I tried the IP address allocated by my WiFi router, but this did not work. So, I still have to turn the Firewall service OFF. Hey
    ho!

    Hi Dude thanks for answering. I checked the UAC and it was on Never notify. I changed to notify (do not dim). The problem persists. I don't think the problem has something to do with UAC, it's that firewall message that I get everytime.
