Windows 10: windows 10 can't install updates, error 0x80240442

OK that good - means you have a clear log and windows can update - just reboot.

I turn off the computer en turn it on again. Try to update but stil same error code. :s

 

Go into View update history and see which KB is failing. I have had drivers failed updates for no reason - security updates should install tho'.

 

Its totale emty there are No updates installed yet. :s

 

Well, that's just weird... there should be at least a failed update...

 

Idk its weird that it can't show the updates that he failed to install. Or failed to find.

I dont know if this is somthing the same problem to but, i cant uploade any pictures to Facebook I updated everything like Java and FlashPlayer and my Chrome or Firefox or internet exploreder. Notting worked. I already ask to Facebook support but they did not gave me an selution (maybe not good English spelling)

And with an online game it's most of the time getting offline and say it can't get online because there is no internet. but actually I have Internet connection and still can use google and that stuff. I need to try make connection multiplay times to Get online mode work. :s

 

Hmmm... seems like too much too fix there... Resetting your system may be best.

 

I was already scared about that. Is that the option that I will lose my installed programs? I don't have a lot of programs because my laptop is stil new. But how about the stuff in my documents (where my save games are), do I lose them? And my other saved stuff like music, pictures, and photoshop save files.

 

I fixed the problem, when i used my lan and not the WiFi. It work now when i put the lan on. Maybe Windows 10 think that the WiFi is not strong enouge to get an update. (Sorry for english)
