  1. Windows 10/11 Pro in kiosk mode fills disk with useless crashpad info

I have dozens of kiosks and find that C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data Kiosk\Crashpad\reports\ fills with unnecessary information and will do until the disk is full. These kiosks access a simple website to display information and don't crash but I find no way to turn off, disable, or set a FIFO rule for this folder. What does appear to be happening is the kiosk user, a user account with ZERO rights, is attempting to update Edge and creates a 6MB file exactly every 5 minutes with this in itWindows 10/11 Pro in kiosk mode fills disk with useless crashpad info :problem signatureProblem Event Name: crashpad_logApplicationName

  2. Windows 10 kiosk mode: screen locks after login

    Hi Matthias,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues while using Kiosk Mode on Windows 10.

Since you are being logged out of Kiosk Mode after every login, I suggest you to refer the article

Also, you can try removing and creating the Kiosk account again, follow the steps mentioned below to remove the Kiosk account:

    1. Go to Settings >
Accounts > Family & other people.
    2. Under Setup a kiosk option click on
      Assigned access.
    3. Now under Kiosk info click on the
account name and click on Remove kiosk.
    4. Now click on Remove.

Once the account is removed, refer the article to

    Hope it helps.

  3. Problem with windows 11 kiosk mode three and four finger gestures.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I understand the problems you're experiencing with Windows 11 kiosk mode. Your issue seems to be a combination of a gesture handling known issue and the limitations of kiosk mode settings.

However, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 system is up-to-date. Microsoft regularly releases updates to fix known issues and improve system stability.
    2. Reset Kiosk Mode: Try resetting the kiosk mode setup. Remove the kiosk account, restart the system, and set up the kiosk mode again.
    3. Try Another Kiosk App: If possible, try using another application in kiosk mode to see if the issue is specific to Microsoft Edge.
    4. Driver Updates: Ensure that your touchpad drivers are up-to-date. You can do this through the Device Manager.
If you're still experiencing the problem after trying these steps, it might be best to report the issue directly to Microsoft.

Microsoft attaches great importance to user experience, you can submit your ideas and suggestions through the Feedback Hub, and the development team will regularly review submissions for ideas or fixes.

Please share the feedback link here after submitting as it will allow others on the forum to vote for your submission, including me. More votes will lead to more visibility and higher priority to the development team.
