Windows 10: Windows 10/11 "Failed to build a list of regular subdirectories under "D:\WindowsApps",...

So I changed the location using the “properties” section on my downloads folder and use “location” and move itThis was a bad decisionI quickly wanted to revert it back, but the windowsapp folder is being stubborn, and won’t even let me access itI tried using “properties” again, and went into security, which also didn’t work, giving me a message saying “unable to perform a security operation on an object with no associated security”I'm unable to go in and change it back to normal reset default because apparently "everyone" needs to have permission to remove the weird WindowsApp folder ... but

I am trying to restore my Documents to its default location from one of the volumes and getting this when I hit "Restore Default".

Failed to build the list of regular subdirectories under "I:\System Volume Information".
Access is defied.

It is a permissions thing, but when I check under "Your info", it says "Local account / administrator".
Why is everything so complicated and confusing under Win10?

hello,

today i noticed my OS drive was not saving none of my files or libraries on my D drive.

the difference of 20gb (OS) versus the D drive (900gb) was outlandish

after a complete mistake on my part.

After trying to merge files i ended up making my D drive to the Pictures library instead.

I tired to look up with no avail.

and when i try to restore my location i get the error "failed to build the list of regular sub directories under d system volume information"

please help my comp cant run like this. i screwed up and have no other help beside you nice folks.
