being productive! We have thousands of folders and file being at home individually or small to medium size businesses. Being able to identify past the limited drill down 256 characters is the upmost importance in file explorer. Limited metadata usages changed the highly productive use of custom columns such as having the ability to add text to tags and comments columns as we once were able to do in Windows XP. If you have hundreds or thousands of, say pdf files adding text in tag and comments is vitally important for special ID of the folder and file context. Though the assigning tag and or

There no option to change the text color of the file or folder names in file explorer.

I suggest you to post your valuable suggestions in Windows feedback app. So, that developers will try to implement it in future Windows 10 Builds to enhance user experience.

Any way to change the text color of file or folder names when viewed in file explorer?

 

Change the color of the columns adjacent to Name column in the file explorer's sub folders in Windows 10.

Original Title: Windows 10 File Explorer Details View, most columns have faint / low contrast font

In Windows 10 (NOT Windows 7), in File Explorer, "Details" View, the font in the "Name" column is normal. But in the other columns ("Date Modified", "Size", etc) the font is fainter (lower contrast). I want to make all the columns look like the "Name" column.

There are several references to this online regarding Windows 7, but I can't tell if they will be relevant or successful in Windows 10.
