Windows 10: Will it ever stop being problems with Windows Hello and Intel RealSense SR300 cameras?...

I'm tired of updating, deleting drivers, reinstalling drivers/win hello... Will it ever Intel and Microsoft get agree on stuffs!!My God!!... Tired of always some issue with Win Hello and this CAM.... HELLO!!!!!I.M.

After posting this issue I found the following on the Intel website:

Windows* 10 Creators Update Build 15063 Is Not
Compatible with Intel® RealSense™ SR300 Camera Driver Posted by

Currently, the Depth functions of the camera driver for the Intel® RealSense™ SR300 Camera do not work with Windows* 10 Creators Update build 15063. Windows* Hello and the RGB functions of the SR300 may continue to work normally in Windows 10 Build 15063
but this is not guaranteed. The F200 and R200 camera drivers are not affected and continue to function normally.

If you want to continue to use the Depth functions of the SR300 camera, do not install Windows* 10 Creators Update build 15063 through Windows Update.

Intel RealSense engineers are working on this issue and we will communicate the solution when it is available.

 

Windows Hello with realsense SR300 camera doesn't work anymore

Hi, I have an HP zbook studio G3 laptop with a USB3.0 Intel RealSense SR300 camera attached which I should be able to use for signing in to Windows using Windows Hello face recognition.

Yesterday everything worked perfectly and when I booted up today, the lock screen says "Couldn't turn on camera. Please sign in with your PIN".

• Tried re-installing all drivers -> didn't work.
• There were no windows updates since yesterday...
• Tried rebooting numerous times -> didn't work...

Windows version: Windows 10 Version 1607 (14393.1593)

Intel Realsense version: SR300 Version 3.3.27.5718

Intel RealSense SR300 Camera failed to install

Hi Lov,

Thank you for the reply. I'm not sure if you're understanding what I wrote (on updated), but attached is the screenshot to proof that only Camera App can detect the camera, while both Intel App (Welcome to Intel Realsense 3D Camera) and Windows Hello Configuration
failed to detect it.





Can you help me to identify this problem?

In the case the Infared on the Intel Realsense SR300 on my Acer Aspire V Nitro is failed to work, it there's any chance that I need to pay for replacement (My laptop is still under warranty)
