  1. Wifi/sound/battery button on taskbar Windows 11 doesn't do anything when left clicked

When I hover over the icons they show the right hover textie. for battery it says "Battery status: 89% available plugged in" etc. that's not the problemWhen I right click the icons it opens a box for the settings for each iconie. for wifi, "Network and Internet settings"but open just left clicking it should open a large menu where I can update wifi, volume and change battery settings right? It doesn't. Would really appreciate any help here.

    :)

Can't click on volume, wifi, battery, or language in taskbar [Windows 11]

It seems that I might have the exact same issue on my Surface Pro 7. After upgrading to Windows 11, the battery, wifi, and sound icons are all combined into 1 button now. But when I click there, nothing happens. I can right click and the option comes up for advanced settings. But a normal left click just blinks and nothing happens. This makes it very hard to adjust the volume or connect to a new WiFi network.

Find it very annoying that these 3 icons are GROUPED together instead of being individual icons that I can configure like in win10. How do I revert the behavior? Also, I noticed quick access shortcuts in Win Explorer is removed in W11. How do I restore that too please? Thank you.
