Windows 10: Wifi slowly loses signal until reconnection

Self explanatory, my wifi signal slowly drops until it’s unusable. This issue occurs both on win 10 and 11, and never on Linux or mobile devices on the same network. The only temporary fix is to reconnect to the network. It does not appear to happen when I am downloading big files such as a steam game. Network reset has been done already.

My windows 10 ASUS laptop occasionally loses the wi-fi signal and then will not automatically reconnect. I have virgin media 100mbps fibre with the superhub 2ac.

The Wi-Fi signal is strong throughout the house with no other issues, IPAD, phones and work laptop all stay connected and never notably drop. What is most annoying is that I cannot then reconnect to the router without restarting the laptop.

The network adaptor is the QUALCOMM Atheros AR9485 and I have unticked the power management box to stop the computer turning off the device to save power. Driver is 3.0.2.201, which is the latest driver, and my device is alledgedly working properly according
to the device manager box.

Also forgetting the network and then trying to reconnect does not work.

For us to isolate the issue, we will need to ask you a few questions:

• Are you getting any error messages every time that your Wi-Fi loses signal?
  
• Since when are you experiencing the issue?
• Have you tried checking with your internet provider if there’s a specific number of devices that can be connected to your network?

Laptop loses wifi connection and often is difficult to connect.

My HP laptop running windows Ten has developed and annoying habit of losing the wifi connection. Often times it will not reconnect or it takes multiple attempts to get it connected. Many times, I can be right next to the router or to the personal hot spot and it will still not connect.
Many times rebooting will allow me to reconnect, but it is happening multiple times in a day. Any suggestions?
