    Wi-Fi Toggle Stuck in Off Position


    I have a Windows 10 PC laptop. It is several years old. The Wi-Fi is turned off. There a switch in the Wi-Fi settings to turn it off/on. However, every time I toggle it on in few seconds it will turn off automatically. I have plugged the PC into the router directly with an ethernet cable. I now have the internet and navigate to anything on the web. But I still don’t have Wi-Fi. I need help with information how to turn on the Wi-Fi.

    upgraded to windows 10 and now wi-fi connection is stuck if off position

    it has been more than 30 days and I can't restore computer to 8.1. Can not connect to Wi-Fi at all because the computer Wi-Fi is stuck in off position. Any suggestions?

    Wi-Fi toggle switch stays in off position - Windows 10

    I upgraded to Windows 10, which worked for a few days and then lost the ability to connect to WI-FI. The toggle switch to turn on WI-FI does not stay in on position. Going back to Windows 8.1 did not change this problem.

    Windows 11 - Can't toggle on wi-fi

    Hello.

    I have been using my laptop connected via Wi-Fi all day fine without issue. I shut my computer down for a few hours and since turning it back on I cannot toggle on Wi-Fi.

    The Wi-Fi open is available from the toolbar (button right) and within Settings. However, whenever I attempt to toggle the switch from off to on, it immediately toggles itself back to off. Occasionally, I can get it to toggle on but after ~10 seconds, it toggles itself back off and I briefly get the message "Unavailable".

    So far to try and resolve this I have:

    • Installed all Windows software updates
    • Uninstalled recent updates in case any of them had a bug causing this
    • Updated the driver via Windows
    • Manually downloaded the latest driver
    • Uninstalled & reinstalled my network adaptor from the Device Manager
    • Reset all the network settings
    My laptop doesn't have a physical Wi-Fi button and my network adaptor is the: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201

    I'm kind of at a loss here with what to try next, so any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.
