Windows 10: Wi-Fi speed slowing down after connecting Bluetooth speaker

Wi-Fi speed slows down after connecting the Bluetooth speakerI am using ASUS X507 laptopI have 50 Mbps speed but after I connect the speaker my wifi speed goes down to 1 MbpsPlease provide some solution.

I have Windows 10 on my DELL Inspiron 2020 PC. When connected to the router using the LAN cable I get very good download speed. However when I connect using Wi Fi the speed is very slow.

My drivers are updated.

What should I do ?

Hello everyone reading,

In the last few days I had to fix some other minor problems on my pc and I had to update the bios (as instructed by Asus support service). While LAN connection works perfectly, as I said, wi-fi connection is still slow.

As I have spent some days by now watching the Task Manager graphs while I wait for a new Internet page to load, I noticed some odd periodicity in the wi-fi connection speed track. While loading a single page (that is, supposedly during continuous/constant
data flow), generally the signal strength (starting from zero) suddenly reaches its maximum (around 600-700kb/s), then it slows down for some time (about 10-15 seconds) just before plummeting directly to zero, and then the cycle starts again - as in this screenshot:





While I am connected via LAN, on the contrary, trying to load the same page produces a quite smooth horizontal line (at a much higher speed) until the loading is complete.

The behaviour of my other PC while using the same wi-fi connection looks more similar to the shape produced while using LAN.

Could this be related with my wi-fi speed connection?

1.3Gbps Wi-Fi connection but slow transfers


I have a 802.11ac modem and my computer gets a solid 1.3Gbps Wi-Fi connection. However when I transfer a test file the speed shows at 110 Mbps. When I connect an Ethernet cable I have a 1.0Gbps connection and when I transfer the same test file the speed shows 985 Mbps which is faster by almost a factor of 10. *Cool

Anyone have any idea why the Wi-Fi transfer is so slow? I am starting to think the modem I have has a processor that can't keep up the speed due to the Wi-Fi encryption.
