    Unable to launch Quicken on primary admin account. Setup a second admin account and it launches and is functional. Attempts to launch on primary admin account creates a Quicken error message: "Quicken unexpectedly quit the last time it was run".I am operating on Windows 10 version 22H2, OS build 19045.4291.

    Thank you for keeping us posted.

    As suggested above, I would suggest you to try uninstalling and re-installing Quicken in compatibility mode by following the steps given above.

    If the issue persists, I would suggest you to contact Quicken Support for further assistance They will be able to guide you with this.

    Thank you for keeping us posted.

    I would suggest you to try the methods below and check if it helps:

    Method 1: Try launching in Safe Mode

    Boot the computer in safe mode and check if you receive the same error when launching Quicken.

    Follow the steps given in the article below:

    Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10


    Method 2: Uninstall and Re-install

    Try uninstalling and re-installing the program and check again.

    Repair or remove programs


    Once you have uninstalled the program, follow the steps provided in Quicken's website on how to install Quicken in clean boot state.

    Install Quicken in Selective Startup Mode

    Let us know the result.

  4. Why won't Quicken Launch on primary admin account?

    Pocket Quicken 2.5, WM6, Vista, AT&T Tilt

    Greetings. Last week I bought a new phone, the AT&T Tilt with WM6. I installed my copy of Pocket Quicken 2.5 on the new device. However, when I synch, I get the folowing error in the Synch Results: Pocket Quicken 2.5: attention required.



    That's it. Nothing else. No numbers or error codes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times now (per Landware's "email support" suggestion. Nothing. There's no error on my device that I can find. Same on the laptop.



    Now, with my old phone (Cingular 8125), I would connect the phone, and it would trigger Pocket Quicken Connect to launch. That no longer happens. However, if I do it manually, I can synch without any error message in Pocket Quicken Connect.



    I suspect the problem is that the Sync Center is trying to launch Pocket Quicken Connect on my desktop but failing. Truthfully, I have no idea. The only thing I know is that Sync Results reports the above error, and that Pocket Quicken Connect no longer
    launches automatically when I connect my phone.



    If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful!
