Windows 10: Why wont my windows key work?

I know it for sure is not an issue with my keyboard as for if i click windows plus or minus in chrome it will zoom / unzoom. But if i try to click windows key for anything else for example xbox gamebar windows g nbothing happens or windows r, windows shift s to take a screen snip, or even windows key all by itself nothing happens. I dont understand why this is happening ive watched countless videos. ive turned off sticky keys updated my keyboard drivers. I dont know what else to do please help.

Equals Key Wont Work

We suggest that you update the keyboard driver. You may follow the steps below:

• Press Windows logo + X key on the keyboard.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Keyboards.
• Click on the driver and click on Update Driver Software.
• Click on Next and follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Are you getting any error message? If yes, what is the error message?

I would suggest you to run the inbuilt windows app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key +X.
• Click Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on Windows Store app to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to reset Windows Store cache abd check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key+ R.
• Type wsreset.exe and hit
  Enter.
