Windows 10: Why won't my taskbar sync on 2 monitors?

Windows 10 Pro, 22H2, up-to-date updates.Without external reason like an update or something, the "Show taskbar buttons on" setting started working as if it was set to "Main taskbar and taskbar where the window is open", despite being set to "all taskbars". Changing the setting to anything else and back will make it work, as well as restarting file explorer in task manager. Yet, every time the computer is rebooted, it will break again, requiring one of the two fixes above. How can I fix it? I just want my taskbar shortcuts to show on both monitors like it should work according to taskbar setti

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

 

Applications won`t maximize

Following a W10 update, applications only open as minimised on the taskbar and won`t maximize. I have tried closing them minimised but no good. Can anyone help ? thanks

Please let us know which build are you currently in?

If you are in build number: 14342, I suggest you to follow the steps below to
hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

• 
  Right click on the Taskbar and Go to
  settings.
  
• 
  Click on the taskbar option.
  
• 
  Under Multiple displays you can turn off the option for
  Show taskbar on all displays.
