Windows 10: Why nothing on my pc responds after 10 seconds not even task manager and i can't even turn...

I tried almost everything and no solution has been found. 1. I tried starting in safe mode and then restart.2. I tried disabling all programs on startup.3. Tried to delete latest files i downloaded incase they wete causing an error.4. Tried updating windows but it didn't allow me because it stops responding after 10 sec.5. Checked if my computer components were at fault or not updated.6. Tried doing a point recovery, wich did not go well at first it did work for 1 minute then it again stoped responding and after i restarted it, it said that there was a problem starting, i tried going to safe m

step 1 worked a dream. Had earlier tried everything suggested in these forums. nothing had worked to solve the problem. The media creation tool as suggested in step 1 did the trick. - it took several hours, but worth it.

ps. original complaint - non responding - and task manager - blank or useless.

 

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

  Choose windows explorer and right click on it.

  Select end task
  
• 
  Click on file menu and select run new task.
  
• 
  Type explorer.exe
  
• 
  Click on ok.
