Windows 10: Why my wifi is so slow on my PC, but works perfectly fine on phone?

In my phone my wifi has an average speed of 10mbps. But when it comes to my PC it is limited to around 2 or 3 mbps. I have tried everything I possibly could do. I tried changing my wifi adapter. I tried resetting my network settings. I tried putting my wifi in to a metered connection. None of them worked.I also tried stopping few services. Before me stopping the internet speed was terrible that I couldn't even load a single web page. But once I disable those three services BITS, WUAUSERV, DOSVC it was able to use back again, but not in the original speed. Also in my task manager shows that I

Is your new PC in a different location than previously? If not then have you installed any mirrors or metal surfaces nearby? Both of these can affect Wi-Fi.

 

Phone won't connect if I change wifi password

My Nokia Lumia 520 never had any connection problems, but today it won't connect not even when I press the WPS button on the modem or type the wifi password. I get the message:

''The Wifi network didn't respond, try again later''.

Wifi is working fine on all other devices (pc, laptop, tablet and other phones) so I'm guessing it's a phone issue? Phone's wifi was working fine yesterday.

I've had the same problem as Panayiotis1984. Upgraded to Windows 10 on my Lenovo from windows 8.1 - now the wifi is painfully slow. The wifi still works fine on my other devices (smartphone etc).

I tried the steps that you suggested but they did not bring an improvement.

Any other suggestions?
