    Why Microsoft removed ad hoc connection from windows 10?


    In windows 7, ad hoc connections were available. However, that is no longer the case in Windows 10.

    WiFi ad hoc problem

    I'm creating an ad hoc network to connect my desktop (running Windows 7) with a friend laptop (running XP). So I set the network and in the wireless networks list of the laptop it appear with signal strength "Excellent" but once it connect to the network the signal strength drops to "Very Low". Any ideas where the problem may be? Thank you in advance.

    windows 10 can't connect to ad hoc network which is made from windows 7

    i am using windows 10 and in network list ad-hoc network (which is create from my friend's laptop having windows 7) is shown but it can't connect to ad-hoc. how to connect?

    Ad Hoc connection using Bluetooth

    Hi,



    Is it possible to create a Ad Hoc connection using a Bluetooth Dongle, I have no idea about Ad Hoc & Infrastructure Modes, So can anybody tell me if it is possible to create Ad Hoc wireless connection using Bluetooth Dongle ?



    I wanted to use WLAN in my Nokia N96, I don't have a Wireless Router. I have read a few articles about Ad Hoc connections, What I assume is..A WLAN connection can be created without a WiFi Router. Is it possible ? If "yes" can anybody tell me the
    steps ?
