Windows 10: Why is Windows 11 deleting loads of software

I never had this issue on Windows 10 but upgraded last week and ever since Windows 11 has been deleting software each time I boot up my PC leading me to need to reinstall the software each time. The applications are simple in no way threatening e.g. Razer Synapse, Opera browser, ICUE fan controller, MSI afterburner, Logitech G-HUB and Discord. There is no warning from windows defender and it is not in the protection History. I have made no changes or installed new programs other than changing to Windows 11. There are no new updates to be done in Windows as of writing this.

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.

 

Deleting contacts from Windows 10


When you say Windows Mail Live are you referring to Mail app or Windows Live Mail?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open Windows Live Mail.
• Press Ctrl + 3 using your keyboard. Right-click on the contact to delete it if it is a single contact.
• Highlight all contacts by pressing Ctrl + A.
• Click Delete located on the Ribbon bar.
• Click OK when you see the message These contacts will also be deleted from Hotmail, Messenger, and other Windows Live services.

After following the steps above, all your contacts that you have manually added to your account will be deleted however, contacts coming from third-party sites such as Facebook will not be deleted unless you remove Facebook from your account.

For Mail app:

Open People app then delete the contact.
