Windows 10: Why is myPC so slow after it was completely wiped?

I just bought a IBUYPOWER gaming pc from my friend who wiped it before selling it to me. When I got the pc It was extremely slow from the start taking minutes to open stuff like google. Now the pc will hardly even get to the home screen. I cant open any apps at all not setting or anything. I also have got nothing running in Task manager.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

What is the error that you see on Startup? Provide complete and exact error code or message.

I suggest that you run the SFC scan and check if it helps to improve the Computer performance. Follow the steps :

• Press Windows + X
• Click Command prompt (Admin)
• Type sfc /scannow
• Press Enter
