Windows 10: Why is my product key suddenly not working?

I built a new PC about a year ago and bought a product key from a licensed seller. They have confirmed that this is a valid product key, and I have been using it with no issues since late November 2023. After updating windows like I normally do I have been prompted to activate my product key again. Upon attempting to reactivate the key I receive error code 0xc004c060. I have no idea why my windows product is suddenly inactive. Can someone please direct me to where I can speak to a representative.

I suggest you to try to activate Windows by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select your Region/Country.
• Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.

i know the product id but forget the product key

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (admin)
• Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Then hit Enter

The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.
