Windows 10: Why does WSUS suck?

I mean, once you get tangled with it, your pc will never be ok again! The damn thing just ruins windows update for good, including optional features like the crappy dotnet 3.5!! Even the store app will die on you to never raise again!Micro$hit sucks!

WSUS Manual Entry

Odd question for MS Experts.

I have a WSUS environment, and 99% of my servers report to it. This makes it very useful as a list of servers and workstations. But there are 1% of our servers that are in the DMZ or off network. I want to use the list of my WSUS computers to know what
computers need to be patched, so they don't get forgotten.

These 1% never have to actually talk to WSUS, just appear in the list of computers so a human knows they exist.

How can I manually add a computer to the WSUS Server?

Can I manually manipulate the DB (Full SQL), and if so, how?

update on my install, i ad everything working inside a VM with 2 disk , when i moved it to the local vm machine WSUS would not work anymore , something do to with database error, sadly have not found a way to tell WSUS where the database is ....
on the new machine its still in the root of d:\ this as not changed so i don't know why WSUS can't connect to his database *Frown
