    Why do I have a small red asterisk on all of my screens Acer All in one computer Windows 10 Google Chrome. Your support number told me to contact chat online and chat said there were 217 people ahead of me. This is a well known company. Why would you treat your customers like that?

    Big red Asterisks

    I have found that they are new installs and the red asterisks are still there until you open the app from the menu it's self. If you are using an app from a homescreen shortcut the asterisks stay in the menu until opened from the menu if you see what I mean.

    To get rid of the red asterisk you need to open those apps from within menu. Once done that you no longer will see them.

    Sorry for making a new thread just to ask this question, but I've asked it before in other threads but didn't get any replies. I'm just curious to know what the big red asterisks are on my icons inside my menu.

    To begin with I thought they were indicating newly installed apps, but they keep reappearing and I'm just curious to know why.
