Windows 10: Why can't I resize the task bar in Win 11?

A basic functionality in Windows has always been the ability to resize the task bar so that you can display multiple icons on multiple rows. In Windows 10 everyone not just Windows thought it would be a great idea to start using cute little pictures for applications instead of names. Fine, I had a workaround by never combining tasks so I can read the name of the item I need to look at. I spend my days answering hundreds of emails, working across multiple documents and spreadsheets that look identical in the stupid Aero Peek. So now what, I get upgraded and can't function. Everything is jamm

Task bar resize

I didn't know that there was a double bar between task view and my applications when I dragged it and held it down my taskbar went up a half inch. I can't put my mouse on the edge of the taskbar and resize there because of that double
bar. I don't know how to resize it back without it having to take up 1/8 of my screen.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
