Windows 10: Why can't I edit any of the properties of an exe?

My Pc will not allow me to edit the location of an exe in the properties or description or ANYTHING about an exe other than the name, what can I do to fix this? I'm on the newest windows 11 update, is this a problem with the update or is this a long running problem, I am also the only account on my Pc and I am also the administrator

Windows 10 supports changing MP3 information. This issue occurs if the there are settings that need to be configured. To resolve your concern, follow the steps below:

• First, right-click the MP3 file which you want to edit.
• Select Properties.
• Click on Details tab.
• Edit the file information of whichever you want.
• Lastly, click on Apply, then Ok.

Printer Properties

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to go to printer settings.

• In the search box type “control panel”.
• Click on “device and printers”.
• Then you can right click on your printer and then click on properties, change accordingly.

USB drive will not run exes.

To assist you better, I would like to ask if you have installed any Antivirus in the Laptop.

I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.

• Right click on the “.exe” file of the program and select properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for “Run in Compatibility mode”.
• Select the Operating System from the drop down list.
• Click on Apply and OK.
