Windows 10: Why am I not receiving an email containing a code?

Yesterday I very stupidly disabled my local profile from being an administrator on my desktop and because of that or because of something related to that, my pin for logging into my computer doesn’t work and I needed to set up a new pin. When doing so, it gave me a Microsoft pop up asking me to put in the email correlating with my profile to which I did. It then said that it would send me an email with a code attached that I could put into the pop up window. The thing is that when I checked my email on my phone, I got no such email from Microsoft. I did this a few times thinking it was bugged

Waiting for verification email from Microsoft containing code. Requested 3 times but no email received

 

No emails received

Windows home version 22H2.64bit.Firefox 109.0.1. My email address has not received a single email in 3 days,it is a hotmail.com address in Outlook, my other email address is working ok and I usually get the same emails in both.I did send a test email from the other to hotmail.com and it worked.Any suggestions?
