Windows 10: White Screen then crash in dark souls III

White screen crash with Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

When I try to start the game, the window that appears has a blank white screen and within a few seconds, says "DARK SOULS (TM) II has stopped working".

The Event Viewer gives me this:

Games For Windows Live and Dark Souls

I have been trying for almost a month to get my Dark Souls on steam to work, just recently i got games for windows live to fully install and connect, but my Dark Souls still will not run. Any suggestions on what I can do? I am on Windows 10
