  2. Windows 10 and Malwarebytes and CCleaner

    Thank you Babu.

A few more queries if you don't mind.

I have tried switching defender on but it won't work. I then uninstalled Malwarebytes and CCleaner and it still doesn't work. After reading your reply about virus protection does this mean I do not need the free AVG anti virus I have been using, and is it
this that prevents Defender from working? Sorry to be a pain I am not very computer savvy but am trying to improve which of the following is needed Windows Defender, McAfee, Malwarebytes, ccleaner, or avg :).

  3. How do I remove/disable McAfee and Defender so I can run AVG?

I noticed on my computer I have both mcafee and defender...defender doesn,t appear in the list of programs, I believe it is part of the operating system..Does anyone know how to disable it. I understand it isn,t a strong protector...Mcafee does appear
in my programs and I could delete it. I would like both of them to go away so I could put on AVG....

    any suggestions

which of the following is needed Windows Defender, McAfee, Malwarebytes, ccleaner, or avg

Do Windows 10 Home or Professional Defender/AVG Free/MalwareBytes Free Conflict?

Have 2 desktop computers with Windows 10 Home on one and Professional on the other.

    - Is AVG FREE better to have / use than Defender?

    - If so, do I need to remove Defender?

-Will MalwareBytes Free also conflict with Defender?

-Suggestion of Free AV protection to run in conjunction with Defender that will not conflict with Defender

Please provide simple answers to EACH question as I am not a tech savvy young Sr
