Windows 10: Which monitor upgrade would you choose?

I'm trying to decide on my next monitor purchase and am struggling between primarily two different options. My current monitor is a 6-7 year old Acer Predator x34p (38" 1440p ultrawide, no HDR). For the last year now I have been trying to decide whether to go with the same size monitor but an OLED version (either the Alienware or the Samsung G8 OLED) or going for a size upgrade to a 49" 5120x1440 ultrawide (non-OLED). My GPU is a 4070ti.

'Generic PnP monitor' issue

Hello Angelica,

I would suggest you follow steps to update the monitor driver:

Press Windows + X keys

Choose Device manager

Click on Monitors

Right click on ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and click on update driver

Tap on Browse my computer for driver software

Tap on Let me pick from a list of available drivers

Choose ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and tap on Next

When you are done please restart the computer.

 

Help choosing a new case

Don't really know how to help you. You are being vague. Here is what I would do. Choosing a case is aesthetics first. Shop NewEgg and list the cases you like and list them. Members will suggest the best choice from your selections.
