Windows 10: When I try to run Phasmaphobia on steam it gives me a DX11 error, I'm not sure how to fix it.

This is exactly the error code it gives me when I press play:Switching to resolution 1024x768 failed Screen: DX11 could not switch resolution 1024x768 fs=0 hz=0/1

Thank you for your help.

I've followed every step and opened Phasmaphobia, however after playing for roughly 4min, kicked me out again and showed up with the BSOD with stop code: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Xbox One controller is navigating Windows 10 without Steam or any 3rd party apps running...

Please confirm a few things for me.

1. Is this issue occurring with ‘Steam’ being installed on your system?
   
2. Have you checked if the controller still works on your Windows when ‘Steam’ is not running in the background?
   

Please check with the following methods.

Method 1:

Stop the process for steam in task manager and check with this.

You can stop ‘Steam’ running in the background by following the steps below:

1. Press ‘Ctrl’, ‘Shift’ and ‘Esc’. This will launch the ‘Task Manager’.
   
2. Click on the ‘Details’ tab, you should be able to locate the ‘steam.exe’ process if ‘Steam’ is running in the background.
   
3. Right-click on it and select ‘End process tree’ to stop the ‘Steam’ running in the background.
   
4. Check if the controller is still working on the Desktop.
   

Method 2:

I would suggest you to check the settings in the Steam application. You may follow the steps below:

1. Launch the ‘Steam’ application, click on ‘Settings’.
   
2. You should be able to locate the ‘Controller’ option under ‘Settings’.
   
3. Under ‘Controller Configuration’, click on the ‘Desktop Configuration’. Please confirm the settings there.

F1 2017 dx11 vs dx12

I'm confused (not strange considering my age)On steam, DX11 is listed as recommended HW, but now the game is installed. I found the following 4 files:
GFSDK_SSAO_D3D11.win64.dll
GFSDK_SSAO_D3D11_UWP.win64.dll
GFSDK_SSAO_D3D12.win64.dll
GFSDK_SSAO_D3D12_UWP.win64.dll

But the game is running DX11, and I can not figure out how to switch to DX12. A google search made me even more confused, some people claim it supports DX12 after patch 1.6, others that it don't, as it should work with the dam consoles in online gaming-mode.
Anyone here can tell me if / how I can get the game in DX12 mode in singleplayer ???
