Windows 10: When I start up the my computer and when I hit esc for startup menu.then I hit system...

I'm having a black screen that appears with after I log in....Also...When I try to hit Ctrl alt del the task manager is not showing up.Also... When I try to go back to home screen to restart the computer with the on screen power option...that doesn't show the regularshutdown/restart/etc.Also...When I start up the my computer and when I hit esc for startup menu.then I hit system recovery...my computer start REGULAR back to sign in screen....not going to system recovery options..??.....Also...I try to hit esc in startup screen but there's is no option for safe modeeven with hitting f5/f6...Su

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

 

How do I get a screenshot of start menu?

1. Run snipping tool ( If screen appears grayed out, press ESC, if not continue step 2.)
2. Click to open the start menu
3. Hold CTRL and press print Screen. Screen will appear grayed out, ready to capture.

NOTE: This will work with all popup menus ie. Windows Menu, Context menu etc...

 

Windows 10 slow Startup and Start Menu not working

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

If lot of programs are running on the start up that it makes the start up slower. I suggest you to check the services and programs which is booting at startup.

Step 1: I would suggest you to run
System Maintenance Troubleshooter and check if it helps:

1. Press
Windows + X key.　

2. Select
Control panel.

3. In the search box, type
Troubleshooter and then click Troubleshooting.

4. Under
System and Security,

5. Click on
System Maintenance and Click on Next button.

Step 2: Please try the following:

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
  
• Click File > Run New Task.
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”.
• Type PowerShell.
• Type the following in the PowerShell prompt:
  
  $manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest
  
• Close the PowerShell window.
• Reboot.
