    When i press Alt+Tab then esc, instead of closing the menu it switches tabs


    Hello, recently moved from mac to windows and one of the most annoying things i'm facing is when i'm trying to switch tabs with "Alt+Tab" but then changes my mind and want to stay on current tab, I press esc to close the menu but instead it just acts as me pressing "Enter" and switches me to the second tab, is there any way to cancel this behavior and make esc work as it's name suggests "Escape/Exit that alt+tab menu"? Sorry if i chose wrong topic categorySub question, is there anyway to change what key open the start menu? sorry i know i should post this on different post

    alt + tab not working

    In XP, I've found I can't alt-tab in, or out of games. In game, I can Ctrl-esc to get out, then I have to click on the task bar to get back in.

    ALT + TAB Not switching on release


    Hi,

    I've been having a bit of trouble with Windows the last few days, which has to to lead me to reinstall it over my current windows. Just mentioning it in case it might be relevant.

    But my problem is that I'm used to having to press ALT+TAB and it would display the open programs, and when I release the combo, it would switch me to the program. But now I've noticed that when I press ALT+TAB, and release the combo, the little UI thingy still stays open and I either need to click the choice or press enter or something. And this is really annoying since I switch programs on a regular basis and this extra step feels unnecessary.
